How to Open WEBP Files In Photoshop 100% WORK!!!
Have you ever saved an image, which is a real image, where you get it on google images but after looking at the image that you have downloaded, the file format of the image is not PNG/BMP Or JPG / JPEG but Webp, well why can that happen ?
Actually the images that appear on Google images are images that have been uploaded on a website. well when the website is visited a lot then the images on that website in one of these articles will be blown up not only from Google Search Engine.
But on google images also the images on their website / blog will be clearly displayed. so don't be surprised if the Google system can crawl almost all articles belonging to the website author including the image too, that's why when you click the image on google images, right on the title, you will be taken to the relevant page where the image was uploaded for the first time.
The problem is saved images sometimes contain webp format, what the hell is that ? so the image with the webp format is a digital image where you need a browser to open it because it is still in the form of a coding not pure image. it is still wrapped by the link inside, because the webp format stands for Website Picture where this format is a format that is still integrated with the website code, that's why if you want to open it you can use a browser to just view the image.
Now on this occasion i will provide a tutorial on how to open image files with the webp format and convert them directly into image formats such as PNG. JPG / JPEG. BMP and etc well are you curious ? just follow the tutorial this time, and First of all, make sure you already have Photoshop software (any version it's okay).
Tutorial :
- Now download the plugin here first.
- After downloading. move the plugin to the photoshop data folder that you have.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe PhotoshopVersion You Use\Plug-ins
And to :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Version You Use\Plug-ins - but there are also extended versions. if you don't find the data folder then it's usually in :
C:\Program Files(x86)\Photoshop\Plug-ins
And to :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Photoshop\x64\Plug-ins - Well nnow if you open photoshop. restart aka close the program first.
- Then reopen it. well below is the appearance of photoshop that has successfully installed this WEBP plugin.
If so then enjoy, well it's easy isn't it ? of course. with this one plugin you can easily open webp images on your photoshop. so just change the way it is with photoshop software that has been installed with WebShop. if so then enjoy.
